How we assess a revision

We examine the tissue that remains, not only the shape. Reducing further is straightforward with the laser technique; restoring tissue that was removed is harder and may involve fat grafting or filler to the labia majora rather than the labia minora. Timing matters: scars soften for six to twelve months, and operating earlier risks correcting something that would have settled.
